Communication-STEM (C-STEM) is an established provider of integrated communication and information solutions with a portfolio of SME, Corporate and Public Sector clients across the UK.

Here is an example of the scope of services we provide for some of our customers.

Bristol International Airport (BIA)
BIA, officially the UK's fastest growing airport, initially contracted C-STEM to provide additions to it's existing telephony infrastructure because we were able to respond faster than the incumbent supplier. To-date, we have installed over 1 Kilometre of ''Airside'' structured cabling and fibre optic links as well as a wireless LAN, linking passenger terminals, the control tower and remote airfield sites including catering, security, engineering and emergency stations.

Broomleigh Housing Association
This project represented NEC Corporation's largest installation of their NEAX System in the UK. Broomleigh required a communications strategy to serve their tenants housing requirements. The system needed to provide a total of 400 extensions across three sites in Kent. C-STEM delivered an Internet Protocol ready solution including a Call-Centre ACD and Voice Processing facilities. C-STEM project managed the entire implementation and manage the maintenance package on behalf of Broomleigh. We have provided front-line support since the installation and assisted Broomleigh in a number of site moves and changes since the initial installation. The success of this model has led to C-STEM securing an order from a second Housing Association on the South Coast for a similar NEC IP solution.

Liverpool F.C.
One of the most famous football clubs in the world, first appointed C-STEM to design and produce interactive web pages for the launch of their new kit design. Following the success of the web venture and the quality of service Liverpool FC received, C-STEM were then commissioned to provide telephone systems, CAT5 structured cabling network infrastructure and call management software for other Liverpool FC facilities including their Training Academy, Melwood Site and Anfield Stadium.

Hallmark Cards
The World's largest greetings cards manufacturer. C-STEM have assisted in supporting Hallmark's extensive Voice and Data networks in the UK. C-STEM's projects for Hallmark have included the replacement of Voice ↦ Data systems at their Head Quarters and at the former Andrew Brownsword Collection offices in the grand surroundings at Kelston Park in Bath.

Orangebox
Orangebox is one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of office seating. Due to continued success in the finance sector and others, Orangebox recently opened a prestigious furniture showroom in the financial centre of London.

Working with Orangebox, C-STEM have developed an IP communications strategy using the Inter-Tel platform to deliver new functionality that will improve service levels, improve communications between production and business functions, using DECT and provide a high-speed voice and data link between the manufacturing plant and the new London Showroom. In addition, using soft-phones, sales personnel now have the ability to connect remotely to internal systems via the Internet, regardless of whether they are based in Cardiff or Dubai.

Powell-Duffryn Rail
Powell-Duffryn Rail (PD Rail) is a leading UK specialist producer of modern freight wagons. It is also the sole UK distributor for loose wheels and axles, wheel centres and tyres manufactured by Bonatrans a.s., of the Czech Republic.

PD Rail needed a new phone system to improve capacity and provide better communications quality between the UK and their Czech Republic partners.

C-STEM specified and installed a Siemens digital telephony system using ISDN30e to provide better quality of service for their sales and help-desk operations. The new digital system includes voice processing and enables integrated fax and email support facilities for their sales and help-desk network. To complete the package, C-STEM negotiated a very favourable call rate plan on behalf of PD Rail for calls between the UK and the Czech Republic.
